2026 Slabcut Hot Mix
This wood is for use in 2026 and needs to be stacked, with an air gap between rows and not covered with a tarp so that it gets maximum air circulation. Because it doesn't contain pine, even if it gets rain wet, it won't re-hydrolyze, it will just continue on drying. You will find its pretty much good to go within a 6 - 8 weeks if stacked properly.
Cut specifically for use in standard fireplaces. This is a mix of Redwood, Lawsoniana, Gum, Poplar and a mix of Cypress. There is No Pine in here!
This wood is commonly known as "slab cut", it is the by-product of milling logs. It is a fairly uniform thickness, which means you can easily stack it into your fire.
It burns beautifully and the heat is just stunning due to the mix of woods, and because there is no pine, it doesn't burn quickly!
