2025 DRY Split Gum
DRY Gum for 2025.
This gum is dry and ready for burning now. Unlike pine, when gum gets rain wet it doesn't re-hydrolyze, meaning it stays dry at the core.
It is cut to length to fit in your standard sized fireplace. It comes in three delivery sizes, A Truck load is 3.6 cubic metres (m3) or a chord in the old ways! The Cage Trailer is 2.5m3 or you can go for the mega load and get a Truck and Trailer at 6.1 cubic metres. We are always generous with our load sizing, so know you will always get a bit extra.
Gum is a hard wood, which means it burns long and hot, but the payoff is you can't start your fire using it, you will need a bit of a soft wood like pine, something good and dry for kindling to kick start the fire before you put your gum on. Once you have your fire started, load it up and just let it do its thing and it will tick over significantly more slowly compared to Pine.
